It’s been a crazy week–so busy. When I come up against all the pressures of the “have to’s” and the “should’s”–it’s nice to take a breath and meditate on God’s grace and life.
Ephesians 1:5 (Amplified)
For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]—
I had heard this song before, but a few days ago I heard it (if that makes sense). I encourage you just to close your eyes and take a few minutes to breathe it in. It’s beautiful and the words are powerful.
A father to the fatherless
A healer of the brokeness you make
Beauty from the ashesA helper to the helpless
A fighter for the hopeless you Love
Those who are alone
Doesn’t that just make your heart sing? What helps you when you need a breather?
That’s a great song. My break is in my study seeking God… Exactly the way Tozer described it.
