Calm before the Storm

six-flagsI was blessed to take my family to Texas for a little trip to Six Flags today. Couldn’t believe how big my kids were, riding all the scary rides they wouldn’t go near just a year ago.

Anyway, we’ll be spending a little time around Dallas before we head home, but school is coming soon and with it a whole lot of busyness! I’ll be teaching a couple classes. My wife is teaching and adding other responsibilities. And of course, our kids will be busy learning and playing.

Besides that, we’re excited to welcome two exchange students who will be living with us for the year!

All that said, I’m going to take a break from writing for the rest of the week as we get everything ready.

Preparations to be made and some final fun to be had!

So don’t forget about the giveaway of the Cure. Enter or get more entries every day until the winner is announced next week. See you next week!

Okay, how about you? Yes or no to amusement parks? What is your favorite ride or type of ride?

Oh, yes, you will be busy! And, I can identify with having to take those writing breaks from time to time. Will miss you here, but truly understand. Blessings, Jason!

Good for you. I used to say yes to scary rides, now my answer is a resounding “No!”

Reality is back as well as school out here. Enjoy your times.

No more scary rides? How can that be, Floyd? Doesn’t seem to fit with what I know of you. 🙂 Thanks so much!

Some might say taking in two foreign exchange students is scarier then those theme park rides.

I guess we didn’t think too much about it after having all those foster children, but it could be scary I suppose! Thank you, Betty. 🙂
