Gone But Not Forgotten

Well, I’ll be gone, but you will not be forgotten (hoping I won’t be either!).

This week especially has been crazy with recording planning, trip planning, family stuff, business stuff, and pastoring stuff. Who decided I could take all this on at once? Oh yeah, I volunteered.

I’m sorry I haven’t got to visit very many of your sites/posts this week. I miss hearing your hearts, wisdom, and insights. I appreciate the interaction and back-and-forth we get to have here and there.

Things are not slowing down in the near future though. I leave early Friday morning for Oklahoma. Our network of churches has team meetings early in the week that I get to be a part of and then there will be lots of practicing for the recording that starts at the conference on Thursday night and runs through Saturday.

The more we get into planning and arranging these songs, the more excited I get! I believe we will experience a great move of His Spirit, life, and joy as we meet and worship together.

  • Thank you for praying! I can’t  tell you enough what it means to have people praying for this album all over the U.S. God is up to something! I know it.
  • Thank you for giving! Many of you have supported this project financially and we over halfway there. I sent the 2nd payment a few days ago and God has been faithful every step of the way. If you or somebody you know wants to give, there are three great ways to do that–go check out the new album updates on

Since next week may be even crazier than this week, I may only be sporadically writing, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate you and the life of Jesus that is exchanged between us. I’m blown away by the ways you encourage and strengthen me.

Many times you may not fully understand what a comment here or a post on your site will do, but eternity is resounding with impact you’re making. I’m so glad you’re a part of my life.

Since we’re on the subject of trips, what was your last one and did anything interesting happen while you were away?

  1. Can’t wait to pick you up and be a part of a little of the madness. 🙂

Last trip would have been to Disney World in September. I can’t think of anything too interesting that happened though.

    • Should be a great time! Thanks for all your love and support, Philip. 🙂

  2. I’m praying for you, Jason. I was in CA last week for my birthday. It was pretty good, got some reading done.

    • Happy belated birthday then, Floyd! I would have liked CA last week--it’s getting colder in Alaska. I’m not ready for winter yet! 🙂

  3. My last trip was when our family went to the Yukon in July. It was a blast!

I pray that everything goes well for you Jason over these next couple of weeks.

    • Those family trips are so wonderful. Making memories! What a blessing that is. Thanks for your prayers, Kevin! I appreciate it.

  4. Come to Kansas!!!!

    • Come to Oklahoma! Ha! I would love to see you, Leandrea. We love and miss you! 🙂

  5. Let’s see: while you have been away for one short weekend, I’ve already made a trip to ER. Does that count? Why does all the interesting stuff happen to me while you are gone? 🙂
Love you and praying for blessing for you AND ME (and the kids!).

    • Believe me, I try to cover you in prayer while I’m gone, but things seem to slip through the cracks! I love you, baby. 🙂
