How Much You Love

I can’t take how much You love us

The ransom for a life, beyond compare—too out of reach for any man

Cost weighed and price measured—too determined, You wouldn’t be denied

Unrelenting grace and truth moved and breathed, too loud to remain unheard

The sinner saved , the outcast healed—too extravagant to call coincidence

Understanding fails with salvation springs so deep, too great to dam

Apprehended and set free with hope-filled words, too late to remain unchanged

I can’t take how much You love us

37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. –Romans 8:37-39
