Light Friday Hit List

If you were busy and didn’t read last week’s post about the changes to this feature (believe me, I forgive you), then you can get a refresher here.

The idea is simple. Instead of my putting out a list of favorites, I want this to be a community effort and get a conversation going. Add your favorite post or story of the week. What challenged, inspired, encouraged, or made you laugh? Then once you’ve added, you can tell others about it and ask them to vote.

I think we can highlight some great voices and have some fun so I hope you’ll join me. Voting remains open until Saturday so tell your friends! Winner gets a virtual high-five and will be included in a new monthly Hit List.

Thanks for joining in and tell your friends!

In the comments: tell us more about the post you nominated, why you added it, and/or the person who wrote it. Looking forward to some great reading!

  1. For some reason I can’t see a place to add my link -- I just see yours and a place to vote for it…

    • I got it fixed now. I had something wrong in the setting. Thanks Karin!

  2. The voting button takes me to the link to add one? Hope this counts for my vote. I’m with you on Betty’s post. She has a way of sharing that brings warm wisdom to the soul and makes me contemplate my own life. Wise Hearted is the perfect name… my vote is cast…

    • Sounds good, Floyd! Thanks. 🙂

  3. There’s a new place on the net. “Outside The City Gate -- Even Lepers have a Colony” ‘m sharing the first post

    • Awesome! Thanks Karin.

  4. Wow, I am a little teary eyed that I was one of the picks. Honest my simple way of writing is just that…if you read wisdom it must be from the Lord. When you read all the grammar and typing errors, wrong words and lack of educated words then that is me. It’s the me that God wants to use if I will just give Him free excess through me. Which means I must at all cost be ready to let Him reveal anything that would stop the flow of Him from coming through simple me. I am living proof God does not demand perfect from us to be used. Thank you.

A proof that I am not perfect, every time and I mean every time I make a comment I forget to click I am not a spammer and of course what comes up…the reminder. I keep saying I am going to write something not being a spammer but if God so lead jump in there and do it for me.

    • My pleasure, Betty. You are great blessing and I appreciate your wisdom and heart for God. It’s an inspiration and encouragement! Thanks again. 🙂
