Light Friday Hit List: 3/2/12

Rounding up posts from around the web that challenged, inspired, encouraged, made me laugh, or all of the above. Be sure to check out these favorites and tell them I sent you! Here they are in the order I read them this week.

And for even more great posts and favorites, be sure to visit Kevin Martineau’s blog as well.

And your random pic for this week…
I’m guessing the owner of this boat is Canadian… Just maybe.
TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS: WHAT WOULD YOU NAME YOUR BOAT?

Do you have a favorite post or link you want to share? Want to discuss one of my picks?

  3. Read em’ all, really insightful stuff this week from everyone!

I think I’d name my boat “Good Riddance”… That’s what I said out loud when I sold the last boat I owned.

    • We had a little boat to take to the lake when I was growing up and it was a lot of work! I know what you mean. Thanks Floyd.

  4. Thank you for the mention Jason — I can’t stop myself from praising His name!

    • That’s a great problem to have! Thanks Karin. :)

  5. Sounds like a Canadian boat.

btw, (kinda on subject to the boat) I know a pastor who has a motorcycle he named “Visitation”. That way, when he’s out riding and gets a call, his secretary can say “I’m sorry, he’s on visitation.” :)

    Good reads, brother!

    • Oh I like that! I’ve heard variations on that, like naming your bed the “word” so when people call, you say, “can’t talk right now, I’m in the word.” :) Thanks Scott!

  6. I love the Sin management vs Holy Spirit Leadership
Post. God gave us the greatest gift which is Jesus. Jesus came and gave us the second greatest gift which is life. When it was time for him to leave he gave us the 3rd greatest gift the holy spirit. He gave it to us so we can defeat sin at anytime and so we can have victory everyday in our life.
