Sanctuary: All the Peoples Praise

January 29, 2012 2:00 am Encouragement, Sanctuary

Sanctuary–

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Over the next few weeks while we’re in Japan, I thought it would be nice to share some photos from here. :)

Psalm 67:3-6 (NASB)

3 Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy;
For You will judge the peoples with uprightness
And guide the nations on the earth.
Selah.

5 Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
6 The earth has yielded its produce;
God, our God, blesses us.
7 God blesses us,
That all the ends of the earth may fear Him.

Reminder: The Warrior Poet Circle returns tomorrow and this time we’re writing from the prompt, Streams. Come and share your heart and maybe express it in a little different way. If you have a poem to contribute, come and share it with everyone. If not, read what others have written and I know you’ll enjoy it. The link widget will be here Monday morning. See you then!

What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

    5. Your photo captures this verse so well. When I think of all those people living in that urban sprawl, and thinking about all of them praising Him. It gives me chills.

        Yeah! I’ve actually prayed for Japan since I was in 5th grade so every time I return it’s a special experience. Of course, this time is extra special! :) Thanks Ed.
