Sanctuary: Dark to Light

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Isaiah 42:16 (NASB)

“I will lead the blind by a way they do not know,
In paths they do not know I will guide them.
I will make darkness into light before them
And rugged places into plains.
These are the things I will do,
And I will not leave them undone.”

What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

    • Yes, He is. Thank you Ginger!

  3. What a great word. Thanks for linking up, Jason. Merry Christmas to you and yours. God’s richest blessings on your family, friendships, health, work, and on your journey in the new year.

    • Amen and same to you, Deidra! Thanks so much. 🙂

  4. He’s so kind to the blind… which includes all of us in one way or another. My eyes are open, lightful, filled with insight now. Couldn’t have felt more blessed than that, especially since I was an extremely “blind” person before the Lord broke into my life many years ago. I’m a grateful lady, believe me. Always good to see you, too, Jason. I always get excited when I see your post. 😉

    • You are such a blessing, Joanne. 🙂 And yes, blindness takes many forms and affects us all--one reason why we need Him and need each other. He’s so good to lead us and bring us into true vision. Thanks Joanne!

  5. Isaiah 43:18-19… My sanctuary is God’s promise of a way through what seems impossible.

    • I need a way through the wilderness and some desert streams myself. I know He is faithful and will come through! Thank you, Kari.
