Sanctuary: Head Held High

Sanctuary–

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Psalm 3:3-4 (The Message)

But you, God, shield me on all sides;
You ground my feet, you lift my head high;
With all my might I shout up to God,
His answers thunder from the holy mountain.

    His voice thundering from the mountain… and He does shield me on all sides. Sometimes His thundering is when I need to know exactly where to turn, to wait, to go, to touch or be touched. Sometimes it “thunders” very quietly in my “hearing-word spot”… other times He hollers strongly, b/c something isn’t being listened too carefully enough here. But He will care for even me… and nothing could be a greater blessing than that.
