Sanctuary: His Work in Faithfulness

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Psalm 33:3-5 (NASB)

Sing to Him a new song;
Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
For the word of the Lord is upright,
And all His work is done in faithfulness.
He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord.

 Nothing Haphazardly done.
His faithfulness is perfect.
His work is perfect.

“God loves with a great love the man whose heart is bursting with a passion for the impossible.”

–William Booth

What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

  1. My sanctuary this week is His Word. And taking gift walks to remember His goodness as I take breaks from sitting with my Mom in the hospital. He is always there.

  2. YES! AMEN!!!! The photo was extremely exciting and gorgeous to me… love those things, day-by-day… and the Word fits right in. Thank you, dear friend!

    • 🙂 thanks so much, Joanne!

      • Thank you. Appreciate your thankfulness. Bless you.

  3. My sanctuary this week has been my parents’ home. It was a hard week and by Friday I was ready to run away. I’m grateful for the times I can get away and the places I have to go!

    • Amen. He gives us rest in the midst of the difficulties. Thank you, Holly.

  4. My sanctuary this week has been those quiet moments with God in my bedroom, usually at the end of the day when I reflect and thank Him for all the ways He’s provided for me. It’s usually those moment where I realise (again) just how much He is there 🙂

    • For me it’s the mornings, but I totally understand! Thank you, MB. 🙂

  5. My sanctuary this week was reflecting on the *miracle* that God performed in my mom’s life -- how he so perfectly orchestrated the next steps in her care. I don’t know why I doubt Him, for He always finds a way to show me His faithfulness. It is me that wavers, but He holds me strong anyway!

    • I know what you mean. I waver so much, but He never changes. Thankfully we’re learning and growing in Him. Thank you, Sharon.
