Over the next few weeks while we’re in Japan, I thought it would be nice to share some photos from here. 
Exodus 33:14-16 (NASB)
14 And He said, “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.” 15 Then he said to Him, “If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. 16 For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are upon the face of the earth?”

I always chuckle when I read this -- Moses telling God, “Look, if you’re not going, we’re not going. Don’t forget. These are YOUR people!” It’s such a great moment in the relationship between God and Moses. Moses went from cowering in the glow of a burning bush, making up reasons he shouldn’t be chosen, to this. Fully dependent on God. So much so, that he won’t make a move without Him.

I totally agree. Amazing the sort of relationship He calls us to have. It’s not one of obedience only, but hungering after Him and true friendship. I’ve been in this place while we’ve been in Japan. I don’t want to go unless He moves with us and we’ve seen such miracles. Thank you Deidra.
