Sanctuary: Like a Tree, Planted

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He's created and the power of His words...

Psalm 1:2-3 (VOICE)

For you, the Eternal’s Word is your happiness.
It is your focus—from dusk to dawn.
You are like a tree,
planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry.
Your fruit ripens in its time;
your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun.
No matter what you do, you prosper.

That's my sanctuary this week. What's yours? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

  1. My verse: Psalm 18:2, “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refute. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation.”

    • Yes and amen! What a hope and comfort He gives. Thank you, Debbie.

  2. As usual, I was looking forward to seeing the photo and the Word that you were sharing around about the world. Thank you so much. Bless you.

    • Bless you too, Joanne. Thanks so much.

  3. The stillness of the image ministers peace.
“I will confess and praise you, O Lord my God, with my whole united heart and I will glorify your name forever. Psalm 86:12 AMP

    • This is one of my favorite verses. Don’t remember if I’ve read it out of the AMP before--“my whole united heart”--I love that! Thank you so much!

  4. May we be planted by the River of Living Water! My verse this week is John 15:7 — 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Linked up with you at Sunday Stillness — hope you’ll stop by Saved by Grace for a visit!
    God bless,
