Sanctuary: Maker of Winter
Sanctuary–
1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship
2 : a place of refuge and protection
Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…
Psalm 74:15-17(NLT)
You caused the springs and streams to gush forth,
and you dried up rivers that never run dry.
Both day and night belong to you;
you made the starlight and the sun.
You set the boundaries of the earth,
and you made both summer and winter.
What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

I’m meditating on Psalm 112:7-8a his heart is firmly fixed, trusting in the Lord.
His heart is established and steady

That’s out close to the Mendhenhall Glacier around here. Pretty incredible! Thanks Sandra.
Winter in all its characteristics offers deep “sanctuary”. Stunning frozen beauty here!

Most Definitely. Thank you, Alison.
As usual, the photo, the Words … fit together and touch hearts, minds, souls, and spirits … so we will move/grow forward to Him.
Good to see you. We’ve both been too busy some of the time. Whew!
Bless you, Jason.
Thanks Joanne! Yes, busy has been a way of life lately. Ready for things to slow down.
The older I grow the busier I am … either in my body or my mind, or sometimes both … and rest will finally occur for all of us when we are with the Lord. Before that the WORLD is pouring more and more onto our paths, both good and evil.
Dumb question… remind me how I can get your CD. I’ve not followed through well enough. When I’m on the highway heading out in the Spring, listening to worship is my way of focusing. Sorry to take so much space here when I could fb you, but this fit into my buzzy schedule today so dropped it now.
Blessings.
At least we are called to rest in Him! We’re admonished in Hebrews to “strive to enter that rest” --I don’t know exactly what that looks like but I want to.
As for the new album, the CD’s are fully duplicated yet but will be available soon. If you want a digital download you can go to the Brighter Shining Still page on JasonScottMusic.com. Thanks Joanne.
I’ll show this to my hubby who is much better at download stuff. We don’t have anything beyond basic cell phones from “ages” ago… don’t text, etc. Our computer can do just about anything, b/c he’s an expert. So, I’ll try to keep my direction going the right way.
And, yes, I agree re: resting in Him. Often, that’s all I/we CAN do with so much on our plates and in our eyes and hitting our ears. I DO crawl onto His lap sometimes and hug and be hugged. All can keep me going forward.
Sounds good!
