Sanctuary: on the Move

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Zechariah 2:13 (Message)

Quiet, everyone! Shh! Silence before God. Something’s afoot in his holy house. He’s on the move!

Reminder: The Warrior Poet Circle returns tomorrow and we’re writing honest poetry from our spiritual passion so I hope you’ll come, share your heart, and maybe express yourself in a little different way. If you have a poem to contribute, come and share it with everyone. If not, read what others have written and I know you’ll enjoy it. The link widget will be here Monday morning. See you then!

What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

  1. Love the scripture. What a perfect photo. He is on the move in our lives finishing what He has begun.

    • Thanks Joan! And amen.

  2. He is indeed on the move. He can’t be fooled and we cannot hide. The very breath all humans breath is His gift, yet the enemies of God use that breath to curse Him. Wake up selfish fools!

I know it’s a bit harsh, but doesn’t that accurately describe the lost?

My honest thoughts for the day…

    • 🙂 I know your heart, Floyd. God certainly gives us opportunity after opportunity to repent and see Him for Who He is and what He has done. May we be vessels of that compassion and grace too. Thank you, friend.

  3. My meditation this week is James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. I think more of us are quite vigilant on trying to put sin out of our lives. Where we tend to fall short and often not pay attention to are the sins of omission in our life. I hope you have a great week, and am looking forward to The Warrior Poet circle tomorrow.

    • That scripture has bothered me (in a good way) for years. It’s so true. If we are only focused on not doing wrong, we are missing so much of life and the good we are to walk in.

Thank you Mike! See you tomorrow then. 🙂

  4. And I’m grateful [millions and millions of times] that He is on the move and I can trust that the result will be HIS, not my moody one or the results of less-than-godly attitudes surrounding me. Another blessed focus.

    • I definitely hear you on that, Joanne! Thanks be to God!

      And thanks to you, Joanne.
