Sanctuary: Running to Him

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Luke 18:16-17 (NASB)

16 But Jesus called for them, saying, “Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”

Reminder: The Warrior Poet Circle returns tomorrow and we’re writing honest poetry from our spiritual passion so I hope you’ll come, share your heart, and maybe express yourself in a little different way. If you have a poem to contribute, come and share it with everyone. If not, read what others have written and I know you’ll enjoy it. The link widget will be here Monday morning. See you then!

What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

  1. I love it when little children worship, they are so ‘open without reservation’. Maybe Jesus knew that.

    • And it’s so incredible that He calls us to live in that same expression and beauty. If we truly understood, I know we’d be freer! Thanks Sharon.

  2. Love the photo and the verse. Have a great week.

    • Kerry, thank you so much.

  3. How do we lose that along the way? That wild abandon? That freedom?

    • I’m not saying I have it fully, but I know we have access and it makes me hungry for more. 🙂 Thanks Deidra.

  4. How beautiful.
I hope you have a blessed week!

    • Thanks Rona. You too!

  5. The child worship is a heart-exploded joy. One of my favorite views is the Johnny Cash Gospel Road movie. On Youtube you could find it. Actually, I have it here:

    Think you’d love it.
