Sanctuary: Set the World Right

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Psalms 96:10-13 (VOICE)

Shout out to the nations, “The Eternal reigns!
Yes, indeed, the world is anchored and will not shake loose.
He governs all people with a fair hand.”
And so, let the heavens resound in gladness!
Let joy be the earth’s rhythm as the sea and all its creatures roar.
Let the fields grow in triumph, a grand jubilee for all that live there.
Let all the trees of the forest dig in and reach high with songs of joy before the Eternal,
For the Eternal is on His way:
yes, He is coming to judge the earth.

He will set the world right by His standards,
and by His faithfulness, He will examine the people.

What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

  1. Beautiful!

    • Thank you, Gina!

  2. Dropping by from Sandy’s place today, Jason. It’s been too long! Psalm 139 for me today . . .

    • It has been a while, Sheila! And I love Psalm 139. Blessings to you and thanks.

  3. Love this: He will set the world right by His standards,
and by His faithfulness, He will examine the people.

I am just finished The Shemitah. Interesting about the judgment. God wants us to turn back to Him.

I know He will set the world right by His standards. Praying.

    • Very interesting, Janis. And I know He set all things in motion and sustains it by His word. He orders and sets this world right--what a hope. Thanks so much.

  4. I’m a sun, and a moon, and a star, and a heavens addict. You made me grin with the photo and the Word. Thanks much, Jason. And, I’m still grinning and chuckling as I’m finishing this. 😉

    • Yes! Me too! The heavens declare His glory and praise. I took that picture on a whim and when I read that scripture, I thought it fit perfectly. Glad it made you smile, Joanne. 🙂 Thank you.
