Sanctuary: the Righteous Lord

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Psalm 11:7 (NLT)

For the righteous Lord loves justice.
The virtuous will see his face.

 The righteous Lord loves justice.
The righteous Lord loves me.
I cannot help but seek Him.

“Seeking the face of God in everything, everyone, all the time, and his hand in every happening; This is what it means to be contemplative in the heart of the world. Seeing and adoring the presence of Jesus, especially in the lowly appearance of bread, and in the distressing disguise of the poor.”

–Mother Teresa

What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

    • Thanks so much, Dawn. 🙂 Blessings to you too!

  2. Seeking His face/His heart is constantly in me. He has reached more and more strongly into me, partly b/c of the sinfulness of our world that is breaking my heart and partly b/c of my age thing has my body heading to heaven. But seeking His face, day-by-day and night-by-night. Heavily on my heart. Thank you for sharing, Jason. You always do beautifully well. 😉

    • What a joy to run after Him and forsake all other loves! It’s what we were made for… Thanks so much, Joanne. 🙂

  3. Exquisite picture! Colors, mood, everything. Seeking God’s face in the everyday, and in the people around us is a tall order — thanks for this reminder. Blessings on your weekend.

    • I appreciate it, Michele. 🙂 Have a blessed weekend too!

  4. Thank you so much for sharing the Mother Teresa quote! I found myself reading it over and over again. Oh! What a mindsight to aspire too!

Thanks for spurring me on this Lord’s day through His Word and His people! 🙂

    • It really touched me. Glad to share! Thanks so much, Karen. 🙂
