Sanctuary: We Hear Songs

February 11, 2012 7:00 pm Encouragement, Sanctuary

Sanctuary–

1 : a place (as a church or a temple) for worship

2 : a place of refuge and protection

Meditating on the beauty He’s created and the power of His words…

Isaiah 24:15-16a (NLT)

15 In eastern lands, give glory to the LORD.
In the lands beyond the sea, praise the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
16 We hear songs of praise from the ends of the earth,
songs that give glory to the Righteous One!

Reminder: The Warrior Poet Circle returns tomorrow and this time we’re writing from the prompt, Count the Cost. Come and share your heart and maybe express it in a little different way. If you have a poem to contribute, come and share it with everyone. If not, read what others have written and I know you’ll enjoy it. The link widget will be here Monday morning. See you then!

What’s your sanctuary this week? What thought, verse, etc. are you meditating on?

    1. AMEN! And I’m more and more involved with the East… the Nepalese/Bhutanese and Karen/Burmese…. and hearing them worship our Lord in their language is such a blessing. Can hardly wait til I get to heaven and see all the worship for eternity… from all places and people.

Thank you. Touched my heart and spirit.

Joanne, that’s wonderful. I got to minister in Japan while I was there and they translated a couple parts of a couple of my songs. It was so awesome to hear my songs being sung in Japanese! I’m with you, I love to hear the worship in different languages--so powerful. Thanks so much.
