Seeing Significance (#12)
I am currently rereading The Search for Significance by Robert McGee (disclosure). It’s an incredible book about “seeing your true worth through God’s eyes.” Once a month or so, I’ll be quoting a sentence or two from the book and then asking you to discuss. I realize you won’t have all the context, but I think it’ll be a thoughtful way to engage the material without me expounding a lot on it.
Thanks for participating…
“Understanding our complete forgiveness and acceptance before God does not promote a casual attitude toward sin. On the contrary, it gives us a greater desire to live for and serve the One who died to free us from sin.”
Why do you think it’s so difficult for us to understand this? Is forgiveness and acceptance hard for you to believe?
