The Journey Home

November 9, 2011 5:00 am Encouragement, personal

I’m back to Juneau and had a wonderful time in Oklahoma (thank you for the prayers).  The time of ministry in Shawnee and Holdenville was powerful and God showed up in incredible ways.

Besides that, I survived a couple of crazy earthquakes (and many aftershocks). That’s a whole other story…

I am excited to give an update on our adoption too.

So far we have raised almost $3000!

That”s book sales, CD sales, offerings, and donations both online and in person. I can’t say thank you enough for supporting this dream through your giving and prayer. Caring for these fatherless children is certainly in the heart of God and He placed it in our hearts–we’re looking forward to the next miracles.

I certainly won’t belabor the point, but if you haven’t had a chance to give, we would so appreciate it. We have a ways to go, but we know God is faithful to complete what He starts.

This is National Adoption Month and besides highlighting our specific story, we’re also ecstatic to highlight the power and blessing of adoption as well. Today, I thought I would share the video that Andrea and I created for this adoption, called the Journey Home. I have seen it probably 100 times and tear up every time. You may have seen it on youtube, but if not, I wanted to share it here.

What do you think?

Check out these conversations!

Well, we posted the link on Facebook so you were out of the loop, Bill. :) That’s why I wanted to share it here because some may not have seen it. God is stirring something deep in the hearts of His people. Thanks so much, Bill.
