To Live Faithful

I want to live my life
In such a way
Either God comes through and gets glory
Or I fail miserably

I want to live my life
Not bowing to comfortable, but
Embracing impossibilities and exceptionalities
In knowing King Jesus

I want to live my life
Pushed and pressured
By Kingdom realities looking to invade earth
And provide a means for Him to be seen

Fire in my bones, eyes fixed
Hands up in praise, stretched out in love
Joy erupting from the innermost
I want to live my life
With Jesus living my life

…the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God]. –Daniel 11:32 (AMP)

Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the Lord. –Jeremiah 9:23-24

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. –Galatians 2:20

Do you feel the stirring fires of awakening? Take time to express your heart and make your commitment to Him…

A Warrior Poet Circle post

  1. Interestingly enough, I just did the same thing while in the shower (TMI, I know). I try to recommit myself to His desires each morning. Great post Jason!

    • Awesome. Committing ourselves daily is huge.

And I pray in the shower too. No worries, Jason. 🙂 Thanks so much.

  2. Praise God! I just posted today about not serving two masters. We either love God or the world…really no middle ground.
While my flesh is weak, I desire to renew my spirit daily in the word of God. I choose life. I pray others do too.

    • It’s incredible how easily we can get turned around, but He draws us and calls us to His truth. I want His heart! Thanks so much, TC.

  3. The picture of the fire is fitting. I sense your spirit is on fire for our Father and it’s uplifting and inspiring. A life lived for the One who created and sustains it can only bring honor to our Father and ourselves.

    • What a great thought, Floyd. When we are consumed with honoring Him, we will be honored. It won’t matter so much or have a hold on us, but God doesn’t take it lightly. May we walk in and know more deeply the fear and reverence of our great God! Thank you, Floyd.

  4. You would have liked the message I took away from the last kids movie (yes, the one you want to see): passion comes from doing the impossible. And it was about a tiger going through a ring of fire. (Can you how my mind got on this movie track?)

    • I listened to your message. Good job, baby! I like that “my passion is to do the impossible.” It is a lion not a tiger, but recalling movies has never been your forte. 🙂 Love you!

  5. I understand my movie track record, However! It is a tiger, yes a tiger, that uses that line in the movie. Maybe you should watch it. 😉

    • Okay. 🙂 you said in your sermon that his mane was shaved off. I ASSUMED it was the lion. That’s what I get!
