Warrior Poet Circle: Intimate Prayer

Teach me, Holy Spirit
Truth beckons beyond my grasp
Draws me into a happy chase
Sight disappeared, sensation failed
Until You showed the form , the shape
Point me to the abiding beauty
Strengthen these feeble hands to take hold
I laugh at the simplicity and ease
Flashes of light fill my being, hold me straight
Limitation fades, exhortation builds
The obscured path now levels and bends to each step
Nothing is hidden except to be revealed
Changing of the seasons, shifting of momentum,
Moving me in the experience of grace
And You remind and refresh words so dear and alive
The cry in me builds more fervent every day
Teach me, Holy Spirit

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. –John 14:26

And He was saying to them, “A lamp is not brought to be put under a basket, is it, or under a bed? Is it not brought to be put on the lampstand? For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” –Mark 4:21-23

    Amen!

In Him, there is no limitation. In Him, there is exultation and exhortation!

    • I have experienced this reality so many times. I really do stand amazed at how He has broken me out of patterns, habits, and moments that sought to destroy. But He brings life and life more abundantly! Thanks Dusty.

  3. Moving me in the experience of grace…

That’ll preach bro’…awesome expression of worship!

    • Hey, I just might do that! Thanks so much, Jay.
